Dream Kitchen Remodeling Ideas

If you were given $10,000 to remodel your kitchen, what would you do to it? I would have double ovens, a deep fryer, a center island, new cupboards and granite countertops, and a gas stove. Oh a woman can dream right?

If I was given that quantity.... I'm not sure if all would go to my kitchen I'd get a better stove, I'd also get one of those fancy ovens that aren't part of a stove... I've also get one of those cool indoor grills, I saw a really cool one the other day, it was more like a luxury one. Very cool!

The rule to this question, or game, is that all of the money has to go into the kitchen. Believe me, if I just got the money and had no restrictions, only about half of it would actually go into the kitchen. The rule of this,though, is that all of the money you receive has to go into the kitchen.

I'd like a walk in pantry and a separate larder. Plus a decent sized fridge and separate decent sized freezer.
A good work surface must be topped off with a decent flooring. Plenty of space and light, a mobile work area. Oak or beech wood or even a hard fruit wood which a decent grain and colour, a couple of sinks and draining areas.
A gas stove and spate gas aga. definitely new chopping boards and the likes all in matching wood. plenty of matching equipment such as kenwood chef, magimix and the likes.
Decent knife set and pots & pans....

Have I blown the budget yet?

For me, I'd probably put in some sort of better lighting first of all...I love natural light and my kitchen just doesn't have enough of it. A skylight or something to brighten up the room would probably be my first thing -- and I think they're pretty pricey so I don't know how much of the 10,000 I would have left! But I think some sort of nice benchtops would be lovely.
