Bun identification required.

Is anyone able to help me identify this cake/bun? Help is appreciated.
It is sponge with jam infused throughout.

I can't say that I know what it is, sorry! I'm hoping though someone else will be able to shed some light on it - I'm curious, now! Did you eat it in a café/restaurant or was it something you found online?

Is the middle fruit cake with biscuit added in? If so, I think it's called a Bride Slice...

There is a thin biscuit Base, then the middle is a sponge cake with various jams actually mixed into the sponge. With a layer of icing on top.
It was a bun that a few guys in work brought in from a bakery one day and it was a huge hit with alot of us. Tastes phenomenal, so thought we would try to identify it.
