Cleaning the Dishes

Right after eating do you clean your dishes at once? Or do you let your dirty dishes to stay in the sink for a long time before you wash them?

We usually do the dishes right after eating, my mom used to do them before even eating I don't want to be like her, so when I move to my new place I'll just ask my husband to place the dishes in the dishwasher and get the thing ready to do its job I'll do it after eating, right after dessert and relaxing a bit

I work long hours, so they usually sit there in the sink until the weekend.

Yeah, but I never use the dishwasher, it sucks the electricity so badly!!!

I was everything by hand too.

We rinse everything right away, but then will often wait until there's enough dishes to make washing them by hand 'worth it.' It's just my husband and me so we don't use all that many dishes in any given day.

For the most part I do them right away unless something more pressing has me occupied! I hate the feeling of mess and clutter and it stresses me out to leave messy dishes piling up in the sink!

I was working as a dishwasher in a big hotel and I have a habit of cleaning all the time. The only thing I like when I clean the dishes is order. I put a dish with hot water for cutlery. Plates and pots go on the sink and in the sink only the cutlery dish. I put glasses on the sink rested on the wall and I can start. I never let dishes to make a pile though.
