Hi! I'm looking for a good gingerbread cookie recipe with lots of strong spicy flavor. Do you guys have any? How thin do you guys roll out the dough before using a cookie cutter?
I have a Martha Stewart recipe that I found about 10 years ago online. I believe this is the same recipe, but it looks like a half batch of what I printed years ago, which made enough cookies to share with everyone I could think of. I did not role very thin for gingerbread, they seem to be best at about 3/8 inch thickness because that gives them a little more chewy texture. http://www.marthastewart.com/343445/gingerbread-cookies
