I have quite a few plans for this year, but not as many as for 2016 ;) That year is hopefully going to be a big year for me. Still, this year is reserved for taking care of some small details. This year I'm going to save as much as i can, because I'll surely need that next year. I'm only buying what is truly necessary, no more misc things or new clothes for me this year.

Also I need to see a couple specialists, learn a new language and by the end of the year i have a very big thing coming up! I actually need to get ready for that! So the next months I'll be preparing myself for that.

What are your plans for 2015?

Find another apartment, set up all our possessions the way we had them set up in the last apartment, try some new Asian dinner recipes and take my daughter to the arts and design district downtown so that she can see all the beautiful and cool people and have a cultural experience.

Well this year is going to be a money making year for me. I am working hard at trying to start my own business in the creative industry. I am hoping that next year will be one for travel, but first I have to get the money to do it. I think this year will honestly be a year for burn out because of all of the hours I am putting into work.

Same here, Tina This year will be a year of hard work and a lot sacrifices! Next year might not be any easier tho, but it's nice to at least get a glimpse of why you have been working hard! Next few years are going to be tough, but we will make it! Best of luck with your business! By the way, what kind of creative business it is? Decorative baking?

Best of luck with finding your new apartment. Also yay for the Asian dinner recipes project ;) I want to try something like that one day! I'm sure your daughter will love seeing that place and meeting some really cool people. It's always good to show them what's out there and what options they have :)

Yeah, when my daughter was younger my ex was really overprotective, so I feel like she's missed out on a lot of the cool art galleries and art house cinemas and foreign restaurants in the area. I want her to see what's available in our city so that she can go out and have experiences instead of just watching people live their lives on TV.

I don't think I will ever get to a point where I could bake professionally unless I got some formal training. When I am not baking, I love to sew. I want to sell my quilts and other sewn projects online. I think I could make some money if they were creative and unusual enough. Good luck to you too, and I hope you get to see your goals through and go on many adventures.

My plans? I'm a little scared to be honest. I want to find myself if that makes any sense. I feel like I have lost direction somehow and it's time to take care of me. I felt the same way, last year and the year before that and the year before that........My point is, I desperately want to take better care of me and I feel like this year more than ever I have to find a way to be a little "selfish".

I have some big decisions to make about my business and I want to make those decisions and come out "alive" free to enjoy life and laugh out so loud ACSAPA can hear me in Miami. I could go and and on and on but in the end I just want to be as happy and healthy as this present life allows. .I also want the same for my family and friends you guys included.

Aw, winterbella! You know what I was telling to myself the other day? This: ''I'm a mess and I need to put my stop together soon!''. Because I feel I have also lost direction and I need to put stuff together again, I'm sure if we work hard enough we can do it! I mean, I have even gained some weight in the last months! So obviously I need to lose that and take better care of myself :)

Best of luck with everything, I hope next years are filled with a lot good things :) I'm going to try to be more optimistic this year =D

Oh my!!!!! Me and my mom love sewing!!!! It's a hobby of ours as well, but I'm not so good! I need to learn more, once I get enough time I'll dedicate this hobby more time and hopefully learn more things :) Best of luck with your business! I'd love seeing one of your designs! Do you think you could ever how us?

That sounds just great :) I'm sure she will totally love the experience :) I grew up with an overprotective mother, you know? So I missed so many things, and the worst part is that she made feel a bit scared of even trying new things, but I'm trying to change that. As a contrast, I think it's great you are doing everything you can to widen your daughter's horizons. Kudos to you!

If I can ever get one of my quilts finished, I would be more than happy to post some pictures for you all to see, The problem is that I have 3 going right now and they are not even done. I need to have more hours in the day!

I was praying for a 48hr day for a while now but the prayers have not been answered and I suspect it's for good reason especially for those days when I am feeling down and want the day to pass.

I look forward to seeing your work. I am no good with the needle, but have a great eye for beautiful designs.

Oh my! I can't wait to see them! I'm sure they will turn out very unique and beautiful! There is nothing like something made by a person rather than made at some kind of factory... because things made at home are always much better and people tend to pay more attention to details.

Speaking of projects, I've had a set of 5 art prints from IKEA and a bunch of mismatched frames that I was going to paint to match, and all this stuff has been sitting around for ages, so this week ,if it stops raining, I think I'll finish them.
It sounds counterintuitive to work on projects while I'm apartment hunting, but I have a feeling that if I don't finish my projects up now, they're going to end up shoved into a closet when I move.

I'm trying the chalk paint that you paint on over a base color and distress the top layer with sandpaper so that you can see the base color peeking through.

I can't seem to see what will be happening within the next month, so I basically have no big plans. I don't even know how I am going to save enough money for winter if I keep dancing, but I can't just stop dancing. Right now my only big plans are to try to go on a sort camping trip to Mt. Thielson and keep a roof over my head for the next year.

I don't think that it is strange that you would paint on your projects while apartment hunting. It could be considered good juju and maybe once you finish your project, the perfect apartment will come your way. The good thing is that schools will be letting out in the next 3 months and this is the prime time for people to move out of their places, in search for somewhere else to live. It is crazy that you are having such a hard time finding a place, you have been at it for months right? There are constantly new places popping up here as home construction is booming right now.

I think my only plans this year is really just to have fun...travel and get my own place. Which I have actually gotten down to doing all of that. My trip to Disney world is in April and I'm getting my own place in June. I am off to a very good start so far.

I several plans and back up plans. I don't know where I will be in the world yet, but I am setting up my websites properly and one is a cookery one tied in with a book. I hope a publisher wants my manuscript and I have few other avenues to pursue while living out of a case for the time being and finding somewhere I want to settle.

That sounds like a wonderful project! But I understand why you don't feel like finishing anytime soon, don't worry, once things are calmer I'm sure you will complete that project asap :) I'd love to have more crafty projects...
