Aebleskiver - Danish Cake

Does anyone have experience making Aebleskiver? My friend from Denmark, a 78 year old woman had 2 molds and she has given me one of them. I have made something similar using rice flour (a Malagasy recipe), however I have never made this and was wondering if there is a trick to it. Any advice?
