Hi
I have been baking my angel or chiffon cakes in the aluminum cake tins.
I am worried about toxicity and am asking if anyone has tried baking angel or chiffon cakes in a stainless steel angel cake tins?
TIA!

thats not the type of aluminum that causes toxicity.

"Aluminum is a growing concern—especially because of its link to Alzheimer’s disease and to other neurological problems which are becoming more and more common. But the difficulty is likely not with aluminum cookware. Many common foods and food additives contain aluminum, including pickling agents (alum), anti-caking agents (aluminum silicates), baking powders (sodium aluminum sulfate), and baking mixes (sodium aluminum phosphate). The average person’s intake from food additives is about 20 milligrams per day. Nondairy creamers, self-rising flour, processed cheeses, and cheese spreads also contain aluminum."

Stainless steel is a poor conductor of heat, which is why stainless steel cookware is made with a cladded design of two or more core layers of aluminum and/or copper.

If you have concerns about baking in aluminum pans, you can easily line the bottom and sides with parchment paper. To make the lining process simpler, purchase parchment paper circles in the appropriate size and cut a hole in the center for the bottom. Then cut strips of parchment paper to line the sides of the pan.
