My boyfriend says his favorite food is angel food cake, so I want to make him an angel food cake for Valentines Day. The problem that I am having is that when I looked for recipes they all had some sort of fruit with them. Is it necessary to pair the cake with a fruit? What kind of icing do I put on the cake? Any suggestions on how to make this a Valentines Day gift?
