This is a *family recipe* that was shared. I love the idea of that. It reminds me of baking with grandma as a kid. Now, I'm the grandma. I think I'll make it a family recipe around my house as well with my own touches. Perfect for when the kids and grandkids come over.

This looks yummy! I think the way the apricots are placed looks really pretty!

I'm a big fan of stone fruits and apricots are up there with my favorites!

That looks really tasty. Is it a firm texture, so it can be picked up and eaten sort of like pizza, rather than cut and eaten with a fork? I like both, but use them for different purposes. I have never purchased canned apricots, and I'm not sure I've even ever seen them. I do like that this recipe uses canned fruit, rather than fresh, since the fresh fruit season is so short, compared to being able to use canned year round. I like the ingredients, and usually have most of them on hand, other than the apricots and heavy cream. This is one I'd like to try.
