Hello, I’m new to the forum, but have a quick question.

I intend on making mini Fruit cakes as gifts this year in 12cm round tins. I am going to use the same recipe I normally do for 1 large cake, but wondered about baking time? The 1 single large cake takes 4.5 hours…how do I adjust the baking time for smaller tins please?

thanks for any help you might be able to give me!

Hi just wondering if you can help. I have a recipe which is
1000g cake mix
300g oil
300g water
250g egg.
It's the craigmillar toffee cake mix 12.5kg bag
On the recipe stated above it says for muffins scale to 100g can somebody tell me what I need to do?
Never purchased large bags of csme mix before i usually bake my own but decided to try one as I have been told is a good cake mix and looking for something different for a tiered cake I'm doing.. would like to make muffins and cupcakes with it but dont understand scale to 100gram as this is all its says . I've never scaled a cake
Regards
Lynn
