Recommendations for Must-Have Cookbooks

I think this is the right forum for this, so please do correct me if I'm wrong.

Now, we're all going to have a huge collection of cook books and baking books in our house, but if you had to choose, what ones would you really recommend picking up? And if you can, say what they specialise in maybe?

Personally since I work with kids, I find that they really want takeaway a lot, but that's a bit of a nuisance to get for the hundreds we're buying for at my place. We're a little infamous in our town, and have to phone well in advance if we want to make an order.

So, I invested in Kenny McGovern's 'The Takeaway Secret' and I gotta admit, it was a fine investment! It details ways you can recreate most of the different big name takeaway meals at home. So domino's pizza sauce, McDonalds french fries, stuff like that you know?
