Hi guys,

I'm currently looking for the best fryer to fry donuts. I need something that can hold the temperature of 177 degrees without any problems any ideas?

I have THIS, the Presto Big Kichen Kettle - a multi-cooker which can also heat oil for deep frying up to 400 degrees F. It should be able to hold foods to 177 degrees without any problems. I bought this because it's not that big & doesn't use up gallons of oil, like a large regular-size deep fryer can, with which the oil could go rancid & spoil, if not used up soon!! :)

177 degrees is definitely crucial for perfect donuts. I've used a stainless steel electric fryer for years and it holds the temperature like a champ. Plus, it's easy to clean. Have you considered the size of fryer you need? How many donuts are you planning to make at a time?

I don't have experience making donuts, but I would love to know what fryer you use that can hold the temperature.
