While on the hunt for a good soup recipe, I keep coming across bread bowls. They look so yummy, I want to try it. I have some experience with homemade bread and yeast rolls, so I am not completely inexperienced. However, I have some questions. Hopefully someone here can help me out.

How does a bread bowl differ from my regular bread recipe? Are bread bowls denser or something to be able to hold up to soup? I wanted to know if I could use my yeast roll recipe, but just shape them different. How big should you make the bread bowl? Do you have an awesome bread bowl recipe? Thanks for any help!

Bread bowls should be able to hold up to soup. It can also depend on how you make it and what recipe you follow. I've noticed that bread bowls can be a little more dense and hold up fairly well.
