Budget-Friendly Vegan Chocolate Cake Recipe

Well 2 months ago when my budget almost run dry and I had to bake a cake for my husband's birthday, i found this recipe which is simple and doesn't cost much. The only modification I did on the recipe is I substitute the frosting with chocolate heavy cream frosting.

Right after baking when it was a bit cooled, I sliced a few pieces to try out and my boy loves it. I love it very much too. If your family love it then I think you got yourself a healthy chocolate cake to go regularly (I mean minus the frosting).

My best friend is allergic to eggs so I'm always on the lookout for egg free recipes! What is the cake itself like - as in, is it crumbly etc? I was quite surprised by how little fat there is in it!
