Morning All!!
I use store cake mix for my cakes. Trust, they don't taste like it when i'm done with everything i add to make my flavor/alcohol combinations. I recently ran across bulk mixes (5-25lb bags) that say "just add water". That's suspect to me... A lot of the reviews on the mixes said they needed to add eggs or oil or flavoring to make them better. It's only a couple cents cheaper per cake than store boxes, but having to add everything in drives the cost back up.
What are your experiences with bulk mixes?
