I haven't baked for about 20 years, but my daughter has a keen interest and has now inspired me. Yesterday I made a chocolate sponge, which came out perfect, and I'm dead chuffed about (see below), Then my son suggested making a Marmite chocolate cake. I simply added some Marmite to my previous recipe but it did not rise so well - do i just need more baking powder ?
