I absolutely love these donuts, but Shipley's Donuts is not an easy place for me to get to often, and I cannot really afford to go. I tried to make a recipe I found on Pinterest, but the dough didn't come out as soft as when it is bought and the filling wasn't as sweet. I really want to find a way to make the doughnuts as good as they make them there, or at least really really close. Any suggestions?
