Christmas Pudding - has it spoiled?

I made an extra Christmas pudding last year. It's still in it's pudding bowl and I rewrapped in parchment and left in cool dark cupboard. I'd like to resteam & use this year but I notice the pudding is very hard and am wondering if it has spolied?
