I like cookie bars, but think I may be in the minority for this one. I prefer the bars because they are not as labor intensive, but more importantly I think that they come out better. Occasionally when I make individual round cookies they would be a little too soft or a little too hard, the bar baking method seems to solve that problem. My all time favorite is a chocolate chip bar cookie (found right on the back of a Toll House chocolate chip bag. If I do make round cookies they are either peanut butter or oatmeal chocolate chip, both of them are difficult to work with, but well worth the effort.
