I've not made any from scratch but the last two times I made cookie bars, I bought a tub of chocolate chip cookie dough. I then added chopped up candy bars such as Reese pieces, m&ms and snickers.

Sweetky that sounds really good. We make cookie bars with homemade chocolate chip cookie dough and then we will top it with different things. My favorite topping is a homemade caramel frosting. Yummy!

I like to make butterscotch cookie bars in the fall, and I just had another idea for them. I am going to try putting caramel sauce on top and then sprinkling crumbled Heath bars on top of that. Sounds amazing right?
