Corn cake

This has many names but we call this corn cake. The main ingredient is corn mill (this is the ground corn) that is made into a dough with coconut milk and sugar. It is either steamed in a "llanera" which is a special pie pan or it can be baked, whichever procedure would give good results. But for the best enhancement, there is the topping called budbod which is grated coconut cooked in water and sugar (until it gets dry). Well, I think I have stated the complete recipe.

I've never heard of that one, but I definitely will do some research on it,thank you for sharing that one, it really looks interesting, I really love anything related to corn.

The first thing I think of when I think corn recipes is cornbread - but I think it's quite different from the corn cake you mention!
