Defrosting help

Okay so this is...a bit of a disaster if I'm honest. Just opened our freezer to get a nice chicken kiev out to put on for dinner, only to realise that I didn't have nearly as many as I thought I did. I could have sworn I had three left, but apparantly I've only got two.

That isn't the issue though. What is is that for some reason our freezer has given up the ghost, and everything is melting. Which as you can imagine, is ruining a lot of our food. I've already had to throw out some bread that is just mush and falls apart in my hands.

How on earth do I go about fixing this!?
