Digestive biscuits

I have made my first lot of digestive biscuits using wholemeal flour, butter, sugar, salt, baking powder and milk.
I feel they are a bit too hard. How do I make them a bit more crumbly?

That's interesting because it was this video that I used for the ingredients but used granulated sugar instead of icing sugar. Next time I make some I will use icing sugar.

Yes I did but I didn't think it would make that much difference! However I have yet to make another batch to check.
