Hi, I just baked my first batch of ginger snap cookies and they are as flat as a pancake. I would like to salvage the batch. Help! What can i do? I did make the mistake of substituting butter for shortening (in my defense the website I got the recipe from said they came out awesome with this substitution). Is there anything I can do? By the way, they taste really good.
