I’m not sure if an actual edible Hydro-dip exists, but there’s something called spherfication which is encasing either a liquid or solid in a transparent edible case.

This company sell the ingredients and equipment for spherfication. They are legit. I don’t do spherfication, so never purchased any of the products/ingredients, but I purchase baking emulsifiers and other to the trade ingredients from them. The only draw back about purchasing from the Modernist Pantry is you need to know what the tools and ingredients are used for. It’s not a place for the untrained cook or baker.
