eid cookies

I'd like to bake cookies for eid in the summer, I have never made them only bake cakes but I think the kids n my nieces n nephews would like cookies. What do people use to decorate thrm with? In the link here is it fondant?

Well, once I was helping my sister decorate her sugar cookies... they were using a psecial icing that came inside tubes that made it very easy to decorate the cookies. The thing looks a bit like a thick gel, you can find many colors We let 'em dry for a while and voila we had perfectly decorated sugar cookies!
