Are Expandable Loaf Tins Worth Buying?

I have been making a lot of sourdough bread recently and have needed to buy some stuff that we were lacking. Some of the recipes have really soft dough that is almost fluid and needs to be in a loaf tin. Whilst looking at the various sizes of loaf tins (1lb, 2lb & 3lb appear to be my only options) I came across an expandable loaf tin and was wondering if anyone had any experience of them? Are they any good, or just a gimmick?

It looks like it might be ok but do use parchment paper. Those look like non-stick pans, and I've never been able to avoid scratching a nonstick pan within two uses no matter how hard I tried.

That is so cool. I've never seen these, but they would come in handy.

I have a large, plastic knife that looks like a bread knife. I used it in my good pans. It was a gift, but I think it originally came from Pampered Chef. Keeps stuff from getting all scratched up.
