Hello, looking for some urgent help. Im an amateur baker and have made my friends wedding cake, it is three tiers coated with buttercream.
The wedding is tomorrow, the venue is one hour away, I will be transporting each tier separately but wanted to know if I should put each cake in the freezer for a couple of hours in the morning to help keep it set? As the reception won’t be for another 4/5 hours after the cake arrives. Or if I do this will it make them “sweat” as they come back to room temperature. Any help would be greatly appreciated. in boxes , in a car with air conditioning, take extra buttercream with you.
No problem, keep the boxes covered from the sun.
