Having lost my recipe for a fruit cake given to me by an old lady years ago I am looking for your recommendations. I don’t want a dark Christmas cake type, a light cake without peel, one with cherries and of a crumbly texture to make in a loaf tin, can anyone recommend your tried and tested recipe, thank you
