Gum paste vs Pastillage for altoid making.

    Hi, I've been planning to make some altoids for quite some time now and I was wondering could I use a Pastillage like this http://www.yenersway.com/recipes/pastillage-recipe/ instead of gum paste. For me, it is far cheaper to make than gum paste, so It would be ideal if it could be used. Also, would it work with the lorann oils, as I am planning to use them to flavour the altoids. Thanks in advance, I would really appreciate if someone could help me out.
