I'm new here. Probably like everybodyelse in this thread. Lol!

I love too cook. I really enjoy putting together delicious meals that bring joy to my family and friends. And in the kitchen I find a place to clear my mind and make something useful.

I decided baking was my weak point about a year ago. So I thought hmmmm.... what would I love to bake? The answer was quick to arrive! Bread!

And I sucked! I wasted more yeast and bread flour than I care too talk about, but eventually I discovered a recipe that allowed me to make a delicious white bread.

I learned from that recipe what bread dough should feel like and since then I've been able to explore different types of bread recipes with success.

I'm glad to be here and hope to learn more and gain further skill from sharing knowledge with others.

What other types of bread have you baked? Which one do you like the most?

White sandwich breads round French breads and a honey wheat with flax and oats both round and braided.

The honey wheat was an experiment that went incredibly well!
