Help with Making Perfect Donuts in a Donut Pan

I have tried making donuts in my donut pan over a dozen times, using a different recipe almost every time. Every single time, the donuts stick to the pan, explode out of the cavities, and crumble when I try to remove them. It's a nonstick pan (Wilton I believe), I grease it every time (either coconut oil, butter, or spray), and I fill the cavities less than half full. Why can't I make donuts?! I've used gluten free recipes, vegan, and recipes with standard flour/eggs, and they all do the exact same thing. Ideas/tried and true recipes?

Please post your recipe and method.

Crumble = overbaked or underhydrated, or both. Try lower temperature, shorter time, increasing liquid ingredients, or a combination of all of these.

Exploding out of cavities = too much dough/batter in the cavities. Try less batter/dough in each cavity.
