Like many other people, I spent the day making thanksgiving dinner. We had turkey, stuffing, cooked carrots, green beans, sweet potato casserole, cranberry sauce and gravy. It was great until I got to the cherry pie. I left it in the oven too long and the crust was charred.
I needed to come up with an alternative dessert so I looked through the cupboards and fridge until I came up with something.
Graham cracker crust topped with a delicious chocolate ganache with a layer of cheesecake pudding and ganache swirled on top.
It turned out delicious. It’s so incredibley rich and decadent. Not something I could have very often but definitely worth it when I have a slice.
Happy Thanksgiving!

I think that's a wonderful "save"! I also had struggles. I'd par-baked the rolls on Tuesday and put them in the freezer. This morning, I discovered apparently I should have left those white rolls in for longer on Tuesday, as they kind of collapsed and did not rise again. They were okay, but rather dense and it was hard to get them to be cooked inside. The brown rolls were fine, only odd-shaped. The corn muffins were the real hit, and I'd jazzed them up with minced fresh herbs. Our friends had a wonderful spread and everything was delicious. And I managed not to stress too badly about my bad rolls. :)
