KitchenAid Artisan Mixer: Motor/Beater Shaft Issue

I just got one of these at a thrift store for $10 USD! The motor seems to work well, but as you can see in the video, the beater rod does not spin at lower speeds and at higher speeds (settings 6-10) it spins very slowly. I do have a video posted of the problem below.

I realize that I probably have to open this up to work on it, but I am asking here to see if anyone knows off the top of their head what the problem is?

I would like to get this up and running!
