Macaron mess

I’ve attached a picture of my mess. Any ideas? I dropped the temp of my oven by 40* and same result. TIA!

Welcome to the forum @Frannytheduck :) Good advice in the topic linked above, so definitely worth taking the time to have a read. Also it might be worth calibrating your oven, sometimes the temperature on the dial isn't accurate.

Franny, hope you found the above link helpful- just to add that I have found (and I know I am not the only one) that the weather can affect how well the macarons turn out. Mine never work as well in damp weather..... I'll leave this with you to test out but I read this and thought nothing of it but actually discovered it to have some truth to it!

There is a nack and once you have it you have it. I certainly find the french method easier than the Italian.
