Hello everyone. My name is Dani and I'm a newly registered baker here. I quit my day-job last year and was able to find a work-from-home about 2 months ago. Now that I am settled with my work and have a luxury of time to spare, I started baking this year. I am very fond of minimalist and cute Japanese pastries I saw when I visited Tokyo last December. I want to make something like that on my own but I have to be good at the fundamentals of baking first. I joined here because there's no one to teach me personally and Youtube videos aren't enough platform to acquire information. Anyway, I'm glad to be part of this forum.

Hi there, you'll like baking, its interesting.
Getting the proper ingredients for japanese pastry might be a hassle.
I would start simple and work up to it.
I'm a retired baker.
