Does anyone have any recipes for a pastry filling that can be used for any thing. It can be used as a filling for cakes, pies or pastries. I couldn't find one online so i was wondering if someone could help me out and give a recipe.
Are you thinking of creme type fillings, or berry fillings? I like to use cherry pie filling for a variety of different things, from pies, to cake layers, and even danish fillings. Cherry filling is my favorite, followed by apple. With an apple filling you can make a vanilla cake, fill the center with apple filling and then top it off with a maple glaze...yummy!
