Hello,

I’m helping my wife to make Asian marble cakes. Sometimes we get bubbles forming along the edges which end up ruining the marbling effect. The bubbles basically mix the two or three colors of batter together near the edge making it ugly. I’ve linked a video of it below.

Can anyone give a reason why this is happening and how to keep it from reoccurring?

Thanks

Please post the recipe. Not knowing what kind of cake it is, how much leavening, The type of leavening, mixing method, the oven temperature, etc it’s impossible to troubleshoot.
