Super runny apple tarte tatin

    I followed the apple tarte tatin from Martha Stewart but in the end, everything was super runny and filled with liquid. When I flipped it over, the “carmel” went everywhere and the apples were not in place. The only cause I’m think of is that I used jazz apples instead of the recommended ones. Is that the problem or is it something else?
