Surprising recipes

Have you ever found a recipe that you thought would be either really strange or simply not good at all, but when you tried it found it was really quite good?

For example, tomato soup cake just sounded strange to met), but some so many people thought it was really good I tried it… And loved it! Similarly,chocolate mayonnaise cake doesn't sound very appealing, but anyone who's actually tried it swears that the recipe is extremely rich and moist (and doesn't taste like mayo).

What are your best examples of recipes that sound strange but are actually quite yummy why not share the recipe here, too?

I found a recipe for using cabbage in place of spaghetti, it was surprisingly good!

You have to like cabbage, though

Yes. liking cabbage would be a prerequisite. I've heard of using spaghetti squash in place of spaghetti, but not cabbage. Do you have the recipe to share?
