Hello everyone, I’m new here! I’m an amateur baker and enjoy challenging myself with ever more complex designs.
I’m making a teapot cake for my friends 40th and wanted to make a full on sphere, but got cold feet and went for a fondant iced cake with a small teapot cake on top. My thinking is if it goes horribly wrong I’ve still got a cake! I’m using 2 250ml hemisphere pans from Lakeland and wondered if anyone could help with how much cake batter to use in each? It’s a vanilla sponge.
Many thanks!
