The baby shower was a success!

Okay so I’ve mentioned before that I was going to be baking the cake for my sister’s baby shower as well as a Make Your Own Fruit Pizza dessert. Well, I just got back from the baby shower and it was great! My sister and everyone loved the cake and dessert.
It was wonderful to see the smiles on their faces. My sister and her fiancé Tyler had an amazing day as you can see in the attached picture.
I can’t wait to meet my nephew Owen when he is born in December.

Thank you so much! And it was really good. My sister wanted something simple so it’s just white cake with vanilla buttercream frosting. It was a coed shower and we decided on something that most people would like. Although I didn’t get to use different flavors and fillings, I was able to make the cake however I wanted. And she loved it so I’m happy.

Thank you so much for the lovely compliments! I did use the leaf tip. When I started the cake I’d just intended to make a lot of smaller leaves to create a sort of dense foliage look with it but I had an idea to make them taller and more jungle-like.
It turned out much better than I planned.
