Theme Dinners

Does anyone ever have theme dinners just for fun. We used to have chocolate fondue for actual dinner and I loved it as a child. Does anyone go all out with decor and dinnerware just for the fun of it on a basic Wednesday night. My family loves to have breakfast for dinner it is a favorite.

Yes, I also enjoy having themed dinners or for any other meal for that matter. When I was younger, at breakfast, my mum would decorate the table like we were on w picnic outdoors. She would pretend that were having a barbeque, so our meals were set up in such a way that it really felt like it was the summer and we were enjoying a day in the park.

My mum used to love doing the whole theme thing when it came to dinners on weekends, I think it's good to 'escape' a little like that, Nowadays everybody's just too busy to bother with such things

We've actually never done it but I do like the thought of it. It would be a pleasant change from the norm. Days are so hectic and there's never time for much of anything anymore.

I don't do theme dinners but I have picnics with my daughter with a picnic basket and silverware and all that good stuff. We can see a park from our bedroom window and we try to go there as much as possible.
