Hi, I know this is probably a weird question and a bit out of place.
I just microwaved a mug cake (guilty pleasure) and I put the mug on a small plate to prevent spilling.
When I took it out, there were tiny hard cristally/glass like see through specks around the bottom of the mug and on my plate.
I panicked because I didn't know what they were. Then I remembered I spilled some eggwhites, and my mug probably stood in it for a while.
Could these things be microwaved eggwhites?
I'm just really worried they are parts of the mug falling of or something.
The things seem to loosen up in water, but they don't go away completely.
Sorry for this, but I got scared.
