Hi fellow bakers,

I’ve been experimenting with different ways to store and gift my homemade cookies and I wanted to share some thoughts and get your input!

One of the most important aspects of cookie storage is keeping them fresh, especially if you plan to gift them. I’ve found that using the right packaging is key not just for freshness but also for presentation. I recently came across a great option for cookie packaging, they have some really elegant and sturdy cookie boxes that would be perfect for holiday gifting or even selling homemade cookies.

If you’re interested, I found a website that specializes in custom cookie boxes that are both functional and stylish. They offer a variety of sizes and designs, so you can choose the right one for your needs. Here’s the link to their product page if you’d like to check it out: Custom printed Cookie Boxes .

I’ve also tried a few other packaging options like cellophane bags and decorative tins but there’s something about a well designed box that really elevates the cookie experience!

Do you all have any favorite packaging solutions or tips on keeping your cookies fresh longer? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Happy baking!

good idea,
I had 2"x2" vinyl labels printed with a photo of my pastry, that way I can use any generic box .
If I was only making a single product such as cookies then custom boxes would make a lot of sense.

Thanks for sharing your idea! I love the creativity with the vinyl labels that’s such a smart way to personalize packaging without needing to invest in custom boxes for every product. It’s also a great way to make your packaging stand out while keeping it simple and cost effective!

I totally agree that custom boxes can really elevate the experience when you’re focusing on one specific product like cookies. For me, I think it’s worth the investment when I’m gifting or selling cookies, as it adds a special touch and keeps everything fresh.

Would love to see your labels in action! Do you have any tips on where you get them printed or any specific designs that work well for packaging?

amazon is quick and easy, not expensive either.
label should catch the eye, indicate the nature of the product and contact number.

I love this topic! Packaging really does make a huge difference when it comes to gifting cookies. I agree that a well designed box adds that extra touch, especially for special occasions. I’ve used custom cookie boxes too and they not only keep the cookies fresh but make everything feel so much more thoughtful and personal.

For freshness, I’ve found that adding a small packet of silica gel or food safe desiccant inside the box helps absorb any excess moisture, especially if the cookies are soft or if they’re going to be sitting around for a little while before being gifted. It’s a simple trick but works wonders!

Another packaging tip I like is wrapping individual cookies in wax paper before placing them in the box it keeps them from sticking together and adds a nice, rustic charm. If you’re going for a more eco friendly approach, using biodegradable or compostable packaging options is always a hit!

I’m really excited to check out the link you shared, as I’m always looking for new ways to make my cookie gifts stand out. Can’t wait to hear more ideas from everyone! 🍪🎁

Happy baking!
