The oven shouldn't be a problem, but the burner knobs can be confusing. You could end up turning on the wrong one!!

Congrats on the move! Switching from gas to electric can definitely feel a bit daunting at first. The biggest thing to remember is that electric ovens tend to heat up differently than gas. You might need to adjust your cooking times and temperatures a bit. Also, preheating is super important with electric ovens. Don't be afraid to experiment and find what works best for you. Lots of folks here have made the switch and can share their tips!

We had to replace our electric stove recently, and the primary feature we looked for in the replacement was to find a stove that had a proofing setting that maintains the oven temperature at 100°. When we chose a GE model that we liked, we also discovered that there was another baking feature that was unexpected.

GE utilizes the oven air circulating fan to enable features such as convection roast, convection baking and air fry, but most surprising was a setting they specifically refer to as Baked Goods.

Described in the user guide:
Baked Goods
The Baked Goods mode is designed for cooking cakes,
breads, cookies, and similar foods on a single rack. This
mode is designed to provide lighter top browning and
better volume. Some foods may require longer cook times
relative to when cooked in the traditional bake mode

I now use this setting for all my bread baking.
