Hi all, \n\nI am new to the group and new to baking / wedding cakes. My good friend ask me to make her wedding cake. I made a practice cake and I think it turned out ok but it could use some improvements. I attached a picture of the cake she wants from Pinterest and a picture of the cake that I made. Here are my questions: \n\n1. How do I get my butter cream to be brighter and whiter? Or should I use a different type of frosting for this design ? \n\n2. What technique do you use to make this design or textured look? I feel like mine looks a little chunky and not as soft as the one in the picture ( maybe it’s my butter cream ?)\n\nAny other advice or recommendations are greatly appreciated. Thanks!
