Wedding Cake Topper Fix?

Hi, I want to display my wedding cake topper in a domed cloche. Unfortunately the round base of my topper (that the bride and groom was built into) had broken in half, which means it can't stand it up now. Any suggestions as to a quick fix?

A disk made from pastillage wouldn't take 10 minutes to make, it sets hard in minutes.
