Yellow rice cake

We call it bibingka but foreigners know it as yellow rice cake because it is colored yellow. The ingredients are ground glutinous rice with a mix of coconut milk, sugar and egg (aside from the topping of salted egg). The baking is top and bottom, that means there is charcoal below and also on top. That is the proper way of baking the bibingka which takes just 10 minutes. It is usually sold near churches during the Christmas season.

Pardon me if I have no picture of that bibingka for now.
