Hi there,

Is it sufficient to use a whisk to combine cream and chocolate to create a ganache.

Or must it be emulsified with a stick blender for optimum result?

Thank you

Agree a whisk is fine. Because cream is not whipped for ganache, and because the cream and chocolate are both liquid consistency, it is manageable to use even a spoon to mix them.
This is not the classic recipe for ganache, but I really love ganache using long-life tinned "dessert" cream, chocolate and a drop of honey.
